Washington Home Care LLC

Presented by
Sara Tremblay Guillemette

Integrity, trust, and genuine care are the cornerstones of Washington Home Care LLC, a Connecticut based non medical homemaker companion registry built on the belief that family, community, and care come first.

Who Is Sara?

At her core, Sara Guillemette is a nurturer of people, relationships, and community.

Sara is a devoted mother of (3) adult children, a sister to (6), a daughter to retired parents, and partner to Dinesh Rajagopalan; owner of the New Milford Tennis & Swim Club  and the Sr VP of Lending at National Iron Bank in Washington Depot, CT.

Sara’s life is a reflection of connection and steady purpose.

Born in Washington County, Rhode Island, yet raised in Townshend, Vermont (population 1,291), Sara grew up in a community where neighbors looked out for one another and care was personal.

Sara’s hometown still boasts a 19-bed non-profit hospital that remains a symbol of community and connection, serving those in need of acute, rehabilitative, and palliative care.

Sara’s late mother was a registered nurse.

Sara’s father, a retired biochemist, passionate woodworker, gardener, and devoted clammer, passed down a love of nature and curiosity.

Sara’s stepmother’s gifts as a gardener, baker, quilter, and seamstress, together with her parents’ shared commitment to land preservation, nurtured Sara’s appreciation for home, stewardship, and the simple beauty of “community life”.

At age 18, Sara was hired to help Elinor White Janeway of South Londonderry, Vermont, serving as her “Sunday New York Times reader.”

Sara credits Mrs. Janeway with sparking her sense of wonder, intellectual curiosity, and desire to see a world that Sara had not known existed.

After earning her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Rhode Island, Sara was employed in hospitality in Vermont, Rhode Island, France, Florida, and Connecticut.

Wherever she’s lived, she has sought meaningful ways to contribute, whether through service, friendship, or local engagement.

Sara founded Washington Home Care LLC late 2019, in response to what she recognized as a growing and essential need: compassionate, trustworthy, dependable, reliable professional in-home support for individuals and families who value dignity, warmth, and genuine connection.

Integrity, trust, professionalism, excellent services, and a highly engaged personal touch are the hallmarks of Washington Household and Estate Management LLC and Sara’s successful related venture, Washington Home Care LLC, a caregiver registry in Connecticut.
